Avant DGP 500w

£342.89

The high quality aluminium Avant DGP with precise digital electronics offers full 24/7 programming ensuring your home is comfortable and warm at your required times.

The clever design of the aluminium fins creates gently convected warm air, whilst also radiating heat from the front of the radiator to produce the feeling of a traditional ‘wet system’.

Our precise temperature sensors and the digital PID thermostat helps maintain the room temperature to a fraction a degree, which improves comfort and reduces running costs.

Description

You can choose between Comfort, Economy and Frost Protection modes, all of which can be set to the required temperature that suite your lifestyle. The modes can be used manually or easily programmed to operate automatically at your desired times. With programming built into the Avant DGP electric radiator each room can have an individual environment to suit specific use and times.

An optional ‘Eco-Start’ adaptive learning feature calculates the optimum time to switch on the heater to achieve your required room temperature at your chosen time. This together with Open Window Detection and a super accurate PID thermostat helps provide a comfortable environment and keep running costs to a minimum.

‘Press & Forget’ temperature adjustment automatically reverts to pre-set temperatures at the next change of programme, helping to avoid high running costs. The Avant DGP is the perfect electric radiator when extensive features are required at a reasonable cost.
Fitting is easy with the patented ‘Quick Fit’ system, which doesn’t require an awkward template, spirit level or tape measure. All our radiators can be powered with a standard UK 13 amp plug making them a simple DIY install.

Of course, as with all Ducasa electric radiators the Avant DGP is CE Approved for use in the UK and complies with the latest LOT20 efficiency guidelines.

Your rooms need to be warm and comfortable all year round, so it is important to fit the correct size and number of heaters.

If your home is new, it may be possible to calculate the heat loss with U-values, which are a measure of insulation. It is then possible to calculate the wattage required, however it is still necessary to decide the best place for your heaters to be installed.

Most customers are unlikely to have the U-values for their home so we have put together the following guidelines to help decide which heaters to buy.

You must first work out the size of your room by measuring the length and width then multiply the two numbers.

When you know the size, simply choose the box below which best describes your room and multiple the size by the wattage required.

Example: 11.1m2 x 80w (new, well insulated) = 888w

Then you should choose the heater model and the wattage which best suits your requirements. It’s unlikely our heater wattages will match your requirements exactly, so always best to choose the next size up. All our heaters have thermostats which will switch off the heater when the room is warm enough, so running costs won’t increase.

Still unsure what size or model of heater to choose? No problem – call the team at Ducasa Direct – a family business with over a decades experience and here to offer friendly, free and honest advice.

We’re excited to offer a special end of line sale on our Vitro model heaters.
